VIDEO: KiD x ft. Kwesta – iPati

After dropping his long anticipated track Thanx, earlier this week, Kid x is back yet again with the video for his hit song iPati featuring Kwesta.

‘iPati’ by Kid x was an unexpected collabo between the two artists but it seemingly paid off as it became the anthem for anyone turning up.

The track is about throwing iPati (a party) to celebrate a milestone in life and the video tells this story. And as you would have expected it, there are bottles popped, fly mamis and of course, club vibes shown. The video starts out by showing Kwesta and Kid X walking into a car dealership – you know, car shopping. They pick out their Porches and buy them cash on the spot! They then drive to their respective homes to show their moms the cars.

The visuals of them driving to the hood are rich and striking. There is something that stands out about seeing an expensive car that looks like it doesn’t belong in the township, cruising through.

The contrast is remarkable, There is a part of the video that shows the two rapping on the bridge and the camera angles on that are fresh. The rest of the video shows them in the club and popping bottles and proper turning up.
