Dumebi was born and bred in Lagos Nigeria. Always musically inclined,
she spent her childhood days singing in her church and school choirs.
She graduated from Nnamdi Azikiwe University in 2009 after which she
directed her efforts into exploring her talent and pursuing her dream
of a musical career. She auditioned for a few talent shows after which
she took the bold step by recording her first single “selense” in 2011
which announced her as a new act in mainstream Nigerian music. In
2012, She recorded two other singles “No rival” and “Tele mi”. Which
have gotten her applaudable recognition by music lovers and an
ever-growing fan base.
