Yesterday, Phizzle put up a download link his brand new single Everyday Girl Pt.2 up on his twitter page, marking the start of his new promotional campaign. This eKelly produced track is an upbeat sequel to the more mellow JRS produced Everyday Girl off his most recent EP, City To City: The Adventures of Waterboi P.
According to the Ibadan based rapper, this is just a continuation in a expressive state of a guy who thinks he might have found ‘the right girl’. While Everyday Girl was written from the point of view of a sprung ‘toaster’, Everyday Girl Pt.2 is written with perception of an existing loving relationship.
“…these two songs were not necessarily written about the same girl.” Phizzle states, “They were simply based on separate inspiring situations that just happen to fall under the same artistic theme, hence the idea behind this sequence.”
This is Phizzle’s 1st official radio single, currently being promoted for airplay on various urban radio stations in Nigeria.
