Brilliantly produced by El Emcee and well-crafted by EYO, “Wedding Day” is an excellent up tempo dance tune with its lush drum patterns combining perfectly with Eyo’s glorious vocal tone, sweet lyrics and complimentary backing vocals to create a certified jam for 2012 that works not only on your glorious "wedding day", in the clubs and on the dance floor as a huge party jam but also makes for a brilliant listen through your headphones...

ABOUT EYO

Akwa Ibom-native and burgeoning Singer/Songwriter EYO - full name Eyo Eminue - also know as “the Akwa-Ibom Fyn Boi” burst unto the Nigerian music scene in 2010 when he was crowned the second runner up at MTN’s Project Fame West Africa Season 3 and has since grown from strength to strength in his musical career.

EYO began singing at the age of 12 and as a teenager, became the lead singer of an acapella group, Yahweh Klan but would go solo in university. Eyo was also the lead singer for his local church choir in Uyo called Power Voices International.

Soon after Project Fame in 2010, we got a first taste of EYO’s musical dexterities with the release of the 5 Mic-featured “What’s Her Name” and in 2011, EYO released his first official single titled “Show For Your Eyes” - and its accompanying visuals - which featured burgeoning rapper Maytronomy and was a major hit with fans and critics alike.

Not only is EYO an exceptional recording artist but the handsome ladies man is also well known for his electrifying performance prowess with his stage presence known to leave the ladies drooling after every stage performance.

Outside of the music landscape, EYO’s love and compassion for children has lead to the creation of The EYO Initiative - an initiative which is contributing immensely to the eradication of child molestation, abuse and stigmatisation in Nigeria. Eyo is further poised to make a difference in the society with his IBOM EXCELLENCE AWARDS which is geared at recognising, encouraging and rewarding excellence in all spheres of life.
