Brief Interview with great Alex Ozone (TGP)

AFRIKTAINMENT: World Famous Alex Ozone, finally we got the chance of having this brief interview.
Its been a while, how is the entertainment industry going on in Nigeria?



ALEX OZONE:The entertainment bussiness in nigeria is developing and growing everyday, we are not there yet...all i can ask or request is for govt to come in and invest in because i believe it,s a money spinning idustry after oil.


AFRIKTAINMENT: Can u kindly tell us a little about yourself?


ALEX OZONE: My name is ozor alex nwuruku, from a large royal familly of about 56, but i,m the only son of my mother with 2 sisters, i,m in my earlly 30s, from ebonyi state, south east nigeria.




AFRIKTAINMENT: We noticed you work hand in hand with TGP (Terry G Production/House of Ginger), and you in any way related to Terry G?


ALEX OZONE: Terr g, is like my brother from another mother and i,m very proud of his success today because i know how he started. i,m really very proud of him, he is the most humble nigeria artiste that i have seen except 2face....what i allays tell people that talk against terry is you should try and hang out him first before you start condemning him... house of ginjah is crew member on tgp entertainment and i happen to manage and promote them (TERRY G IS THE CEO OF TGP ENTERTAINMENT)


AFRIKTAINMENT: What motivated you into entertainment bizz?


ALEX OZONE: My motivation to show biz is the passion and love i have for music, i,m into it for the fun and the business part of it. 


AFRIKTAINMENT: Apart from entertainment, are you involved in any other business?


ALEX OZONE: Apart from show biz... i,m also into club management and marketing...... i love my jobs lol.


AFRIKTAINMENT: Tell us more about the world cup closing ceremony event coming up soon?


ALEX OZONE: THE MTN FAN PARK is a concept we created for the organizers and the mgt of the fan park ..i see it as our own contribution for the organizers as in bringing football and music together because i see football as part of entertainment... it,s a free show no gate fee. AND we are expecting a lot of super stars ranging fro AY.COM, BIG LO, SLIM JOE, G.O.P, ALLABAI, KIOMA, HOUSE OF GINJAH CREW, BEANPOLE, JAFEXTRA, D'ROWLANDZ and many more it,s going to be a full house with top entertainers


AFRIKTAINMENT: How many events have you done i the past?


ALEX OZONE: I have organized many successful shows and events in nigeria that i cant remember to mention their names now but the last show was THE DAGRIN TRIBUTE CONCERT


AFRIKTAINMENT: Do you have or ever thought of having your own record label?


ALEX OZONE: I,m planning of opening my own recording studio very soon... but it will not be like the type of studios that we have now mine will be different because every music is produced from my studio will be promoted by us...


AFRIKTAINMENT: Do you manage artist?


ALEX OZONE: Managing an artiste now is not on my agenda, but i,m just managing house of ginjah crew because i see it as a project that i initiated together with terry g....


AFRIKTAINMENT: Kindly give the upcoming artist a little advice


ALEX OZONE: My advice to upcoming artiste is that they should study the game very well before they enter into it... BECAUSE IT,S A MAKE BELIEVE INDUSTRY dpnt believe what you read in newspapers or watch on television......it,s not an easy industry.
