Mayor Wete real name Mayowa Ayomide Shobowale has proven to be an appealing and commercially viable artiste. His first official single “Wete” gained huge acceptance and was loved by many people at different places he has performed. Many radio personalities fell in love with the song which got him huge rotation on a few radio stations in the South Western part of Nigeria.

He later recorded and released “Soro Eh” and “Mawo mi” which gained fair rotation on radio stations within Lagos and other nearby States and emerged as an underground hit.

He worked with Indomix (his cousin) in the latter’s studio and built up his vocal range working as a backup singer to numerous artistes.

Collaboration credit includes songs with artistes like Sound Sultan, Mode 9, Illbliss, Mr Nigeria (Deji Bakare),Represent (from France), Stone and Jesreel (from Ireland), Solid Star, Toluwin, Deebee, Alayuba, Seriki and many more.

He has worked with producers like Sucksy Beatz, J Sleek, Tee Mode, Lahlah, Oga Jojo, Sheyman, Blaze Beats,Ndissel Beat, Big Sam, Indomix and many more.

After gaining huge acceptance with his previous singles, he is here with “Never Too Late”, a rhythmic and captivating song that is totally appealing.
