Afrobeats sensation and full-fledged star MISTA SILVA is the modern voice of a new generation bringing Afrobeats and the sound of Africa to a brand new audience. With his instant classic and pioneering sounds of “Boom Boom Tah”, Mista Silva was the first unsigned Afrobeats artist to be playlisted on BBC 1Xtra.

Still ringing bells and making massive waves with his debut E.P titled Full Vim, the extremely talented and versatile artist stow the show at the likes of E4 Udderbelly Festival, BBC Radio 1 Hackney Weekender, Africa Unplugged, I Love Afrobeats Festival, Somerset House’ Summer Afrobeats Series and WizKid’s UK tour among other essential Afrobeats gigs and concerts of 2012, which also saw Mista Silva perform across the globe, notably in Germany, Holland, Ghana and Austria.

As a result of his successful single and E.P release as well as his extensive performance schedule across the UK, Mista Silva was awarded the UK Artist of the Year 2012 gong at the GMA Europe 2012 as well as Best Emerging Act 2012 at the GUBA Awards. He rounded off a fantastic 2012 with the release of “No. 1” music video off of the Full Vim E.P.

Mista Silva picks up in 2013 where he left off in 2012 with the release of his brand new single titled “I Know You Like Am” which is off of his forthcoming sophomore E.P More Vim!!!
