Group Bio:

The Faculty is one of Abj's (if not Naija's) finest Hip Hop outfits. The crew of Five, GrandSUN, Gwan and Juze, have been quietly building their fan base for a minute, with tracks like 'Ice Cream', 'Off the ground' and recently 'Soldier' which featured Pherowshuz and Terry the Rapman. The crew of four have been together for a couple of years since they met in school, Ahmadu Bello University, and have gone on to garner respect from lovers of Naija Hip Hop and music in general. With influences like Fela, Jay-Z, Asa, B.E.P, Saul Williams, Tuface, Will Smith, The Roots and Lira, the Faculty often show a versatility that defies their Hip Hop core.

Track Bio:

The Faculty return with a new track following the underground success of their single 'Soldier' which featured Terry tha Rapman and Pherowshuz. Phero is called upon again on this track called 'We dey run things' which features a Bishop Lamont sample. The top notch lyricism and banging instrumentals the crew is getting popular for, shine through on this song. We'd like to think this is Naija Hip Hop at its finest, we definitely hope you feel the same.
