Therefore, the project “DANCEHALL SPARTANS” envisions Spydaman as a fearless & gifted poet, using his lyrical skills to beam a search light on the satire of our society.
MUSICAL PARADIGM SHIFT
This album aims to highlight the strength of Spydaman’s dancehall roots while creating a fusion with several commercial music genres including hip-hop, afrobeat, R&b and techno music to create a unique sound that sets him apart from all other dancehall musical acts in Nigeria.Our collaboration with a popular francophone hip-hop group “B-MEN” is a pioneer effort to give the album an international cross-over appeal.
