A brief introduction from Praiz himself:

My name is Praise Ugbede Adejo.

I hail from kogi state,igala by tribe.

I come from a family of 7 ma parents inclusive, 4 boys and a beautiful
girl. I'm the second child of the family.

I started music in 1997,about 13years ago nw. Started in church.played the
drums and sang also.The  Church gave me a strong foundation musically.

I wud define ma music as gud music! Cos of ma name everyone wud expect me
doin a gospel album which is gud, but I'd rada call ma music gud music! I
want to be able to reach a wider audience wit ma songs.

Ma genre of music is soul/rnb..

I was 2nd runner up at d maiden edition of mtn project fame west africa. It
was a great experience for me dat gave me a platform to showcase ma talent.
It wasn't easy but I was succesful. Smiling home with a car and substantial
amount of money! Lol

I draw ma inspiration from God,my family and everyday experiences..
Internationally I luk up to artistes like john legend,lemar and carl thomas.
Locally we have a lot of talented acts whom I respect, but I hv a great
respect for tuface Idibia.

Hmmmm! Apart from singing, I am into humanitarian activities also..I'm part
of 2n.g.o's (safe motherhood foundation and little big souls) whose aim is
to reduce premature mortality and provide maternal care to women who can't
afford it! This is one amongst many.


Ma video concept is  simple dat says a lot,a video dat shows d emotion of d
song..ma video speaks of a female who does not get the love she needs,and I
speak abt her needs in third party! Thanx to ma director Imoh Umoren,we were
able to accomplish wat we wanted.

I have a gud fanbase in nigeria,ghana,uk,malaysia and ukraine. I'm hopin
When my album drops it wud raise ma fanbase because I am goin to give good
music. And to all ma fans who have stood by me I love u and appreciate u!

At d moment,I have a couple of offers bt nt in a hurry to jump into
something I'm nt sure of. So I will say I'm independent! Free like a bird.

At d moment I am workin with TKAY,he has worked with a lotta big acts on d
naija scene, I'm also hoping to work with cobhams,ojb (jigga),dr frabs and
whoever is gud!

Breaking into the music scene aint so easy,bt I am making head way. With God
by my side I'm breaking in!

I knew I was made for music since I was a kid,PROJECT FAME was jst a
confirmation that I can do this,and u can't deny it dat I am made for music
and music is made for me!

My family is solidly behind me,they pray for me and encourage me in every
way they can! I am happy that they support me!


My album shud be out before the end of the year,watch out for it..it wud
give u a new experience into music!
